A method of blanking parts. This method involves having one part blanked in one direction and another part blanked in another direction utilizing the unused material from the previous part. This method is used as a cost-cutting measure.

Scholarship fund to honor Dick Kallage - by Tim Heston FMA’s Nuts, Bolts, & Thingamajigs foundation has set up a memorial scholarship fund in honor of Dick Kallage, an influential member of FMA and columnist for The FABRICATOR magazine. Kallage died of cancer Feb. 18.
