coil reel

Definitions

  1. A revolving spool-shaped device on which metal is wound. The coil reel has an expanding mandrel to grip the inside diameter of the coil. The mandrel rotates as the material is pulled off of the coil. Also called de-reeler or pay out reel. A more common term is uncoiler.
