Definitions

  1. Electrical steels are magnetically soft materials used for static and rotating electrical devices. These materials are not permanent magnets but have properties that make them useful in electrical applications, available in coils or cut-to-length. Low-carbon electrical steels and oriented and nonoriented silicon electrical steels commonly are used.
