Abrasive Resource receives 2014 Manufacturing Leadership 100 Award

Abrasive Resource, an Anoka, Minn.-based converter and distributor of abrasive sanding and grinding products, has received the Manufacturing Leadership 100 Award from the Manufacturing Leadership Council, San Antonio, Texas.

The company was recognized in the Sustainability Leadership category for its fiber disc reclamation project. The project was to design a new machine that uses laser technology to cut down used abrasive discs, allowing for abrasives recycling.

The Manufacturing Leadership Council is an invitation-only executive network that works to define and shape a better future for manufacturers worldwide.
