AccuBilt hires sales engineer

AccuBilt Inc., Jackson, Mich., has named Jon Grugel as sales engineer. He has more than 20 years of sales experience in the welding industry working with robotic integrators, gas and welding supply distributors, welding power supply companies, and metal fabricators, as well as other industries.

Grugel previously served as AccuBilt's vice president from 1994 to 1999. As sales engineer, he is responsible for pursuing new business opportunities, technical sales and support, managing new accounts, and building relationships with existing customers.

The company provides automation integration services — including design, build, installation, and support of automated production equipment — and specializes in precision-built robotic and flexible automation systems for welding, assembly, material handling, and automation support.
