Airgas acquires A&N Plant
Airgas Inc., Radnor, Pa., recently acquired A&N Plant, a European supplier of new and reconditioned rotating, positioning, and welding equipment. The acquisition creates a new business unit of Red-D-Arc Ltd., an Airgas company that provides welding, positioning, and related rental products and services in North America.
A&N Plant operates in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, serving a diverse customer base in industries such as offshore and onshore oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, environmental, industrial plant, and steel fabrication.
Red-D-Arc offers rental welding, positioning, and related equipment and services through more than 40 service centers in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, as well as through Airgas construction stores in the U.S. and a joint-venture operation in the United Arab Emirates.
Airgas Inc. is a distributor of industrial, medical, and specialty gases; welding equipment and supplies; safety products, nitrous oxide; dry ice; liquid carbon dioxide; and process chemicals, refrigerants, and ammonia products.
