AK Steel announces spot market base price increase for carbon steel products

AK Steel said today that it is increasing current spot market base prices for all carbon flat-rolled steel products by $40 per ton, effective immediately with new orders.

AK Steel produces flat-rolled carbon, stainless and electrical steels, primarily for automotive, infrastructure and manufacturing, construction and electrical power generation and distribution markets.
