Alcoa announces price increase on small diameter drawn seamless tubing

Alcoa Engineered Aerospace Products has announced a price increase for soft and hard alloy small diameter (under 0.750-in OD) drawn tube in both round and other than round product forms. Base prices have been increased by 6 percent and will be effective on new orders entered on or after June 1.

Existing quote pricing will be honored until the quote expiration date. Any changes for increased volume on existing orders will be at the new prices. The price increase will not apply to existing agreements or firm metal contracts; however, all new pricing agreements will be subject to increased pricing, the company said.
