Speakers from Miller, Maxal, ITW to participate in AWS conference
Aluminum welding specialists from Miller Electric Mfg. Co., Appleton, Wis.; Maxal, Traverse City, Mich.; and ITW Welding, Glenview, Ill., will be presenting at the 15th annual AWS Aluminum Welding Conference, held Sept. 18-19, 2012, in Seattle.
Tony Anderson, director of aluminum technology, ITW Welding, will deliver the conference’s official welcome and later will share how to recognize and avoid aluminum weld discontinuities. Miller and Maxal representatives will speak on field experiences and topics relevant to aluminum welding metallurgy, filler alloy selection, aluminum GTAW fundamentals, aluminum weld design and performance, and technology advancements and automation in the aluminum welding industry.
