AP&T names new CEO

Sweden-based AP&T, a supplier of automation, presses, tools, and complete production lines to the international sheet metal and tube forming industry, has named Magnus Baarman as its new CEO, succeeding Tord Andersson, who is stepping down after serving for 20 years.

Baarman's most recent position was CEO of Frauenthal Automotive GmbH in Vienna. He worked for the Frauenthal Group since 2003, serving as CEO of the automotive subsidiary for the past four years. He also previously worked at Imatra Steel Group and Ovako Steel.

Andersson will continue working during the transition to Baarman's leadership. He also will work on future issues in a senior position and will be a member of the board of directors.
