BOC Gases and Linde Gas rebrand in North America as Linde

The Linde Group, Murray Hill, N.J., has announced that its integrated BOC Gases and Linde Gas organizations in North America are now branded as Linde. Linde AG acquired The BOC Group PLC in September 2006 to form The Linde Group, which comprises over 100 companies in more than 70 countries.
The integration increases Linde's product and service offering and expands its geographic presence, the company reports. With 5,000 employees, Linde has a network of more than 400 locations, including plants, sales offices, and retail outlets. It also has 1,600 trucks and railcars.
Industrial applications for the gases include metals, welding, and fabricating.
