Thermadyne names national accounts manager

Thermadyne® Industries Inc., a global manufacturer and marketer of metal cutting and welding products in St. Louis, has announced the appointment of Matthew Proffit as national accounts manager.

In this position, Proffit is responsible for the strategic management of existing customer relationships throughout North America and the leadership of new business development across many applications.

With more than 12 years of national and international experience in industrial manufacturing sales management and business development, Proffit previously worked for Ingersoll Rand Co. in several sales management roles.

Proffit received a bachelor's degree in technical systems management from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Indiana University.
