Barnes Aerospace expands operations
Barnes Aerospace, Windsor, Conn., a division of Barnes Group Inc., has expanded its large fabrication operations in Ogden, Utah, with a 120,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility that will produce precision aerospace components for use in various aircraft engine and airframe applications. Construction of the facility is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2008.
The company's capabilities include complex assembly; welding; vacuum furnace brazing; hot, cold, and superplastic forming; multiaxis milling; and laser and waterjet cutting.
