Lincoln Electric names president, business development for Americas welding
The Lincoln Electric Co., a manufacturer of arc welding products, robotic arc welding systems, plasma and oxyfuel cutting equipment, and brazing and soldering alloys in Cleveland, has promoted John T. Bronstrup to the newly created position of president, business development for the Americas welding segment.
Bronstrup has been with the company for nearly 20 years, serving as vice president of finance, North America; director of financial reporting; and group controller for Harris Products Group. He served as chief accounting officer and corporate controller of Hawk Corp. and started his career as an auditor for Arthur Andersen.
Bronstrup, a CPA, earned an MBA from Cleveland State University and a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Miami University.
