Miller, Hobart to host Welding and Heating Technology Conference Sept. 21

Miller Electric Mfg. Co. and Hobart, in conjunction with E.H. Wachs, will host the third annual Welding and Heating Technology Conference at the ITW Welding Technology Center in Houston on Sept. 21, 2016.

This free event will feature educational seminars with keynote speakers, panel and roundtable discussions, live demonstrations, and networking opportunities designed to present ways to stay competitive, maximize profitability, and improve operational efficiencies in welding and heating operations. The conference is targeted to pipe fabricators, general fabricators, general or mechanical contractors, manufacturers, maintenance and repair operators, welding and gas distributors, educators, students, and supply and rental professionals.

The event will conclude with a Miller-hosted AWS Houston Chapter dinner and presentation featuring guest speaker Marcus Luttrell. His No. 1 New York Times best-selling book, Lone Survivor, tells the story of four Navy SEALs who journeyed into the mountainous border of Afghanistan and Pakistan on Operation Redwing. Cost for the dinner is $25 in support of the AWS Houston Chapter.
