Praxair announces new staff appointments

Praxair Inc., Danbury, Conn., has made several new appointments to its staff. Bob Phillips is Northeast U.S. division general manager; Randy Brittingham is vice president and general manager, U.S.; and Ken Faulkner and Doug Crayton are managers of sales and operations, respectively, for the Constar LLC packaged gas business acquired by the company this year.

Phillips aids the division's sales and operations teams in customer service and helps it reach its growth and profitability goals. Before joining the company, Phillips worked for BOC Edwards in engineering, marketing, technical support, and operations.

Brittingham is responsible for the Desert Mountain, central California, Gulf states, central Great Lakes, southern, south central, and north central divisions.

Faulkner has been named division sales manager responsible for all sales and growth initiatives for the company's southern division, which was created with the acquisition of Constar. Crayton has been named division operations manager and has more than 27 years' experience in the packaged and bulk gas business.
