Solar Atmospheres names leader for southeastern U.S. expansion

Solar Atmospheres, a provider of commercial vacuum heat-treating services based in Souderton, Pa., has tapped Stephen Prout to oversee its expansion into the southeastern U.S. within the next three to five years. His first task is site acquisition. The company currently has two vacuum heat-treating facilities in Pennsylvania and one in California.

Prout has 17 years of experience in the commercial heat-treating industry, having served as a production manager, plant manager, business development manager, and general manager with such companies as the American Brazing division of Paulo Products, Bluewater Thermal Solutions, and Bodycote Thermal Processing.
