Elgin Fastener Group hires COO

Elgin Fastener Group, Batesville, Ind., has announced the appointment of Michael A. Wilson to the position of COO. He has more than 20 years of experience in various aspects of manufacturing and management.

Retired from the U.S. Army National Guard after 21 years of service, Wilson has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering technology and an MBA in finance-general management from the University of Cincinnati. He is a member of ASQC with certified manager of quality status.

Elgin Fastener Group comprises seven domestic specialty fastener manufacturers, a metal finishing company, and an international sourcing and engineering division.
