Kyocera acquires Senco

Japan-based Kyocera Corp., a provider of precision tools for electronics, aerospace, automotive, and medical applications, has acquired 100 percent ownership of fastener and tool manufacturer Senco Holdings Inc., Cincinnati. The enterprise has been renamed Kyocera Senco Industrial Tools Inc.

Senco’s products include pneumatic and electric nailers; staplers; screw systems and compressors; and nails, staples, screws, and specialty fasteners. Its manufacturing and marketing are concentrated in the U.S. and Europe, with products sold in more than 40 countries worldwide.
