MacLean-Fogg Component Solutions acquires Automotive Division of Curtis Screw Co.
MacLean-Fogg Component Solutions, Mundelein, Ill., a supplier of fasteners, engineered components, and linkage and suspension products, has announced its purchase of the Automotive Division of Curtis Screw Co. LLC. Included in this acquisition are the manufacturing sites in Buffalo, N.Y., and Cornelius, N.C. The newly formed division is known as MacLean Curtis LLC.
Through this acquisition, MacLean-Fogg Component Solutions expands its business and product range in precision-machined components. The Automotive Division acquisition includes such manufacturing capabilities as CNC and CAM multispindle screw machining, Hydromat rotary transfer machining, and CNC machining. Its product lines include transmission gear blanks and parking components, steering and HVAC hydraulic connectors, engine timing parts, and automotive safety components.
