Misumi USA Inc. names president, expands marketing management team

Misumi USA Inc., Schaumburg, Ill., has appointed Masanori Suzuki as president. Previously Suzuki served as general manager of the strategic planning dept. for Misumi Corp. in Japan, the parent company of Misumi USA. In that position he worked toward organizational restructuring and exploring merger and acquisition opportunities to sell noncore business units and strengthen the company's supply capability.

Before joining the company, Suzuki was vice president of the service dept. for i2 Technologies Japan, Tokyo, where his team was responsible for servicing clients in software implementations and supply chain management operations. He also has served as chief of the Change Promotion Center for Showa Shell Sekiyu K.K., Tokyo. Suzuki has an M.B.A. from Washington University and a bachelor's degree in engineering from Keio University, Japan.

Misumi USA also announced appointments to its Factory Automation Group, naming Misa Nishimura as director of marketing and inside sales and Dwayne Roark as senior marketing manager.

Nishimura previously served as director of global business for the Factory Automation Group in Japan. Before joining the company, she held vice president positions for Voice Research Corp. and ASV Corp. She has an M.B.A. from Keio University, Tokyo, and a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the Ochanomizu Women's University, Tokyo.

Roark previously was manager of marketing communications for Danaher Motion. He has a master's degree in integrated marketing communications from Roosevelt University and a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of St. Francis.

Misumi USA also named its former marketing manager, Ron Dziuda, as inside sales manager.
