Vision-guided robotics webinar scheduled for June 7

The Robotic Industries Association will host a webinar, "Robots: Vision Guidance Technology (2D)," on June 7 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. EDT.
It will cover basic techniques in 2-D vision-guided robots and introduce the concepts of XY centroids, part angles, and grip offsets. Robot and vision coordinate systems also will be described, as well as fixed and robot-mounted camera calibration techniques.
The webinar will explain application development steps and sample programming code. Concepts will be reinforced with real-world application movies.
