Adept Technology expands in Korea

Adept Technology Inc., Livermore, Calif., a provider of intelligent, vision-guided robotics and global robotics services, has announced its product expansion in Korea and its signing of Han Shin Power Tech Co. Ltd., a robot application engineering company, as an exclusive dealer for Korea.

Han Shin serves as the exclusive dealer in Korea for Adept's complete line of robotics, controls, vision, and software products. A provider of factory automation and engineering products and a robot systems dealer, Han Shin also serves as a stocking dealer of Adept products in Korea and has placed an initial stocking order of Adept Quattro s650 robots and Cobra robots.

Adept Korea Co., a former branch office of Adept Technology and current distributor in Korea, continues to promote and distribute Adept products and serve as a subdealer of Han Shin.

Korea currently is the fourth-largest robot market in the world, Adept Technology reports.
