AGT, Roboweld sign joint venture

AGT of Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, and Roboweld Inc. of Burnaby, B.C., have signed a joint venture to advance market exposure and adoption of robotic processes in welding and nonwelding manufacturing operations.

The terms of the joint venture enable both companies to share resources, physical capacity, and operational capabilities to serve targeted markets. The joint venture facilitates an integrated sales and marketing program for the companies' robotic applications, including robotic pipe welding and intelligent robotic self-programming using vision and Orus 3-D scanning technologies.

Both companies are associated with FANUC Robotics and Lincoln Electric in North America.
