Beckhoff Automation adds two engineers to U.S. Systems Engineering Group

Beckhoff Automation LLC, a provider of open automation systems in Savage, Minn., has added two engineers to its Systems Engineering Group. This team, now staffed with six engineers, assists machine builders and manufacturers with the planning, design, and implementation of new machinery and equipment that feature the company's PC-based control systems.

The first of the new hires is Robin McKee, formerly from Par Nuclear, who has more than 30 years of control experience in such industries as nuclear, wastewater, HVAC, and dairy. Also joining the company is Matt Besser, who worked previously at Aspect Automation. He has more than 24 years of control experience in specialized machine applications such as assembly machinery for medical devices. Besser’s other experience includes process control of commercial ovens used in large bakery operations and web handling.
