Comau robot wins NED Innovation Award
Southfield, Mich.-based Comau has received the 2016 NED Innovation Award from New Equipment Digest for its Racer3 robot. The robot was one of 11 innovations to receive the award from a selection of 2,000 technologies.
The high-speed, 6-axis articulated robot features a payload of 6.6 lbs. and a reach of 24.8 in. The compact robot is constructed of aluminum for use in manipulation and assembly applications.
