Güdel Inc. opens satellite office in Michigan

Güdel Inc., Ann Arbor, Mich., the U.S. subsidiary of Switzerland-based Güdel Group, has opened a satellite office in Troy, Mich.

“We believe that being closer to our Metro Detroit customers and partners will improve our overall interaction and ability to collaborate on key projects,” said Stefan Nilsson, CEO. Initial staffing focuses on sales, engineering, and applications for the company’s press automation and power train business units.

Güdel supplies linear-motion modules, robot track motion units, gantry robots, and components to OEMs, systems integrators, and machine builders serving the automotive, aerospace, logistics, heavy industrial, and power-generation industries.
