Granite State Mfg. acquires Equipois

Manchester, N.H.-based Granite State Mfg., a contract manufacturer of equipment for the defense, medical, semiconductor, and industrial market segments, has acquired the assets of Equipois Inc., Los Angeles, the developer of zeroG and X-Ar exoskeletal arm technologies.

The acquisition allows GSM to use its precision manufacturing capabilities and robotics technology to expand the markets for Equipois products. The products help workers maneuver tools and other objects to help reduce workplace injuries and boost productivity.
