igus to demonstrate products at Rhode Island Robot Block Party on April 11

East Providence, R.I.-based igus, a provider of motion plastics and founder of the Young Engineers Support program, will wrap up National Robotics Week with an educational celebration at the 2nd annual Robot Block Party, April 11 at Brown University’s Pizzitola Sports Center, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.

The company will have a number of robot giveaways for students and will demonstrate its products for robotic systems.

The free event, which is open to the public, is hosted by the Rhode Island School of the Future and the Humanity Centered Robotics Initiative at Brown University. The day includes more than 50 hands-on exhibits, demonstrations, and displays from companies, schools, universities, and nonprofit organizations from around the area, including Brown University and NEIT.
