KUKA Robotics appoints vice president, sales and marketing

KUKA Robotics Corp., a global manufacturer of industrial robots, announced effective February 1, 2009 the appointment of James Cooper to the position of vice president of sales and marketing.
Cooper leads the U.S. sales team and directs the company's strategic marketing initatives in addition to driving the day to day sales and sales administrative activities. He has a strong relationship with the company's System Partners.
As the previous director of strategic alliances for KUKA Robotics Corp. and a 29-year veteran of the robotics and automation industries, Cooper has held various management and technical positions. His experience involves a wide array of applications in robotic technology ranging from automotive, food, medical, aerospace, and defense supplying custom innovative robotic automation solutions. He reports directly to Stuart Shepherd President of KUKA Robotics Corporation U.S.
