Lincoln Electric names president of global automation

The Lincoln Electric Co., Cleveland, a subsidiary of Lincoln Electric Holdings Inc., has promoted Steven B. Hedlund to senior vice president and president, global automation.

Hedlund joined the company, a manufacturer of arc welding products, robotic arc welding systems, plasma and oxyfuel cutting equipment, and brazing and soldering alloys, in 2008 as vice president, strategy and business development. He was promoted to senior vice president, strategy and business development, in 2014. He holds a bachelor's degree and an MBA from Dartmouth College.
