Minster relocates expanding Automation Division

The Minster Machine Co. will relocate its expanding Automation Division from Beaufort, S.C., to its global manufacturing headquarters in Minster, Ohio.

"The decision was made to facilitate our Automation Initiative, which includes expanding our existing technologies and product offerings to include robotic-assisted part and blank handling, intelligent assembly, and welding automation capabilities that were added to the organization earlier this year," said David Winch, executive vice president.

The division includes a comprehensive and growing line of coil and die handling machinery. The expansion and consolidation of the division into 15,000 sq. ft. of renovated space at the company headquarters is expected to be complete by the second quarter of 2011.
