Webinar on robotic welding scheduled for Sept. 12

Robotic Industries Association, Ann Arbor, Mich., will present a webinar on Sept. 12 at 12:00 p.m. EDT titled, "Introduction to Robotic Welding." This technology is the most prevalent application of industrial robots in the most prevalent automotive vertical market.

Concepts of resistance spot welding and arc welding will be presented. A robot may weld a preprogrammed position, be guided by machine vision, or by a combination of the two methods. The webinar will discuss weld schedules with robots and will present several application videos.
