Salvagnini America names North American operation president

Bill Bossard, vice president marketing and sales of Salvagnini America, has been named president of the company's North American unit, announced CEO Eugenio Bassan. In addition to continuing in his role as chief marketing officer, Bossard will perform a variety of executive duties for the manufacturer of sheet metal fabrication machines and processes.

Before joining the company in 2002, Bossard was sales director of Pankl Aerospace Systems, Cerritos, Calif. He has more than 22 years of regional, national, and worldwide sales management experience and 32 years of experience in manufacturing, metals, and machine tools, including fabrication, primary metal, chip, and automation equipment.

Bossard received a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University and a master's degree in business administration from Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio.
