D&S Mfg. adds double-initial-pinch angle roll

D&S Mfg., Black River Falls, Wis., has acquired a new 308HV4 Carell double-initial-pinch angle roll. The machine increases the company’s roll bending capabilities.

While existing fabrication equipment allows D&S to roll parts up to 10 ft. long, the new machine increases the company’s ability to roll thick, narrow parts. It accommodates flat parts up to 5 ½ by 3/4 in. the hard way with a minimum diameter of 60 in., and 8 by 2 in. the easy way with a minimum diameter of 42 in.

Along with flat part rolling capability, the machine also accommodates Sch. 40 pipe up to 5 in. with a minimum diameter of 70 in., angle leg-in up to 4 by ½ in. with a minimum diameter of 48 in., and I-beam up to S8 23 lbs. with a minimum diameter of 48 in.
