Ermak installs press brake at Ryerson
Ermak USA has installed an Ermak tandem press brake at Joseph T. Ryerson & Son Inc. in Mobile, Ala.
The 48-ft. by 2,000-ton Speedbend press brake can form plates up to 48 ft. and up to 0.75 in. thick. The machine is equipped with the company's Delem 66 controller for offline and online programming, an adjustable V die, and an autocrowning system for even angles.
The tandem configuration can be run synchronized for 48-ft.-long plates and separately for forming two different parts up to 24 ft. long.
