Finn-Power, Safan dissolve press brake distribution agreement

Finn-Power Oy (a company of Prima Industrie Group) located in Kauhava, Finland, and Safan BV, Lochem, Netherlands, have announced the termination of their eight-year press brake distribution agreement effective Jan. 1, 2011.

Finn-Power Oy will develop and manufacture its new line of electric and hydraulic press brakes, which will be distributed worldwide by the Prima/Finn-Power sales organization. Safan BV will distribute worldwide its shears and electric, hydraulic, and robotized press brakes through its own network of subsidiaries, agents, and dealers.

Finn-Power sales network will be active on Safan's products until the end of 2010, and deliveries of machines sold in 2010 might occur in the first half of 2011. Finn-Power will continue to provide after-sale service on the hundreds of press brakes installed so far, and Safan will maintain an adequate spare parts policy.
