Manufacturing lab presents new learning opportunity for Wisconsin students

The Green Bay Area Public School District, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, and the NEW Manufacturing Alliance have announced the development of Bay Link Manufacturing, a high-precision manufacturing learning lab in Green Bay West High School, Green Bay, Wis. The lab provides high school students with real-world experience in manufacturing, engineering, marketing, and business careers.

High school juniors and seniors enrolled in Bay Link Manufacturing collaborate with NWTC students and manufacturing mentors to complete projects for local companies in the areas of industrial welding, machine fabrication, and metals. Students also design the marketing and business systems necessary to sustain a successful manufacturing business.
