Feintool acquires Herzing+Schroth

Feintool Intl. Holding AG, Lyss, Switzerland, a manufacturer of fineblanking presses and provider of fineblanking services, has acquired Herzing+Schroth, a German group that specializes in chipless forming of parts for motor vehicle drive trains. Like fineblanking, the chipless forming process is used for the high-volume production of lightweight components.
All 499 employees and 27 trainees of the companies Herzing+Schroth GmbH u. Co. KG in Obertshausen (Hessen), Germany, and Schroth Antriebselemente GmbH in Ohrdruf (Thuringia), Germany, will transfer to Feintool.
