ATW Companies announces acquisition of Metalform Co.

ATW Companies, Warwick, R.I., has announced that A.T. Wall, ATW's precision stamping and tube-drawing subsidiary, has acquired Metalform Co., a New Britain, Conn.,-based gun magazine manufacturing firm.

The acquisition of Metalform's deep-drawing, stamping, and pistol magazine fabrication capabilities supports ATW’s vertical integration into the rapidly growing firearms and defense industries. Among Metalform's top products are 38-caliber, 45-caliber, and 9-mm magazines. Metalform’s key sales and operations personnel will join the new team to help ensure a seamless business transition and manufacturing integration.
