Chemetall Metalworking Group receives Nissan approval for non-oil lubricant

July 16, 2012

Chemetall, New Providence, N.J., has announced that its Gardolube® VP 10300/2 non-oil stamping lubricant has received approval from Nissan Motors for use on all automotive components processed through paint and e-coat systems by Nissan North America facilities and affiliates. It is the first fully synthetic stamping lubricant to earn this level of approval from the automaker.

The lubricant works on both ferrous and nonferrous substrates under a variety of metal forming process requirements. The product provides boundary lubrication and rust protection for progressive stamping automotive applications, while maintaining a cleanable residue.
