Ice Industries adds capacity at Mexico facility

Ice Industries, Toledo, Ohio, has announced that it is adding five metal stamping presses, plus ancillary equipment, at its Apodaca/Monterrey, Mexico, production facility. The mechanical presses have capacities from 150 to 1,000 tons. All include feeders, straighteners, and coil handling equipment.

The presses have been installed in a recently completed 60,000-sq.-ft. expansion, which has increased the facility to 115,000 sq. ft. The ancillary equipment includes a CMM and a CNC machining center.

Ice Industries is a supplier with capabilities including deep-draw metal stamping; metal fabrication; CNC machining; GMAW, GTAW, and resistance welding; assembly; kitting; rolled and welded pressure vessels; and powder coating.
