Bunting Magnetics names business strategist–metal detection

Bunting Magnetics Co., Newton, Kan., a producer of precision magnetic products, has named Robert Bunting Jr. as business strategist—metal detection. In this position, he is responsible for developing the metal detection portion of the company's product line, with emphasis on the food processing and bulk commodities markets.

Bunting is a third-generation employee of the company. Since his graduation from Rockhurst University in 2005, Bunting has served the company in various positions, most recently as the territory manager for Illinois and Wisconsin.

The company has manufacturing facilities in Newton, Kan.; suburban Chicago, Ill.; DuBois, Pa.; and Berkhamsted, England.
