Burr Oak Tool marks 70th anniversary, opens new building
Burr Oak Tool Inc. is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2014. The firm was founded in 1944 in Burr Oak, Mich., as a provider of tools, dies, and fixtures to local companies. Today the company, now located in Sturgis, Mich., designs customized production machinery for the heat transfer and tube processing industries worldwide.
The firm recently moved part of its operation to its new assembly facility, where machine assembly production has begun.
