SigmaTEK holds annual Academy event

SigmaTEK Systems LLC, a provider of CAD/CAM nesting and material optimization software, held its annual SigmaTEK Academy event May 1-2, 2012, at its headquarters in Cincinnati.
Shop floor fabricators, manufacturers, and managers gathered to participate in sessions and workshops on laser, plasma, waterjet, punch, and related cutting applications, including best practices for part nesting, CAD import, costing and quoting, advanced NC programming, the factory of the future, and the state of manufacturing. Sessions were conducted by industry experts from Mazak, OMAX, ITT Burny, and SigmaTEK.
