ITT combines Burny, KALIBURN brands under one roof

ITT Corp., through its wholly-owned subsidiary Cleveland Motion Controls, Inc. has announced that it is combining its Burny and KALIBURN product manufacturing and engineering under one roof in Ladson, S.C.

Burny products have been manufactured in Cleveland, Ohio, for more than 35 years. In 2008, ITT purchased the privately owned plasma systems manufacturer KALIBURN Inc. and in 2009 moved the company into a brand new, state-of-the-art, facility in Ladson, S.C. Beginning November 2010 the engineering and manufacture of Burny products will transition to the existing ITT/KALIBURN facility in Ladson.

"This consolidation will enable us to create more efficient and technologically advanced products for our customers," said Mark Osowski, product manager for Burny and KALIBURN. "We have communicated this move to our customers and are working hard to make this transition as seamless as possible. Combining these two strong product brands into one facility will allow us to provide even better service to our customers."
