Specialty Metals Processing completes Precision Blanking Center

Specialty Metals Processing Inc., Stow, Ohio, has announced the completion of its new, $2 million Precision Blanking Center for surface-critical material. The center includes two cut-to-length lines capable of 300 FPM, tight tolerances, edge trimming, PVC coating of two sides, paper interleaving, and line marking.
Its gauge range on stainless is 0.010 in. to 0.187 in. and up to 0.250 in. on aluminum. Widths can range from 10 in. to 72 in. and lengths from 10 in. to more than 300 in. The center can handle coils weighing up to 45,000 lbs.
