Praxair acquires Hobart Industrial Gases

Praxair Distribution Inc., a subsidiary of Praxair Inc., has acquired Hobart Industrial Gases of Fort Wayne, Ind. Since 1956, Hobart Industrial Gases has supplied packaged industrial, medical, and specialty gases; welding equipment, supplies, and services to Indiana and Ohio.
Praxair also has made two other recent acquisitions in North America, A-1 Welding Products, with locations in Dickinson and Bismarck, N.D., and S-L Liquid of Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada.
