Houghton signs agreement to acquire D.A. Stuart

Houghton Intl. Inc., Philadelphia, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire D.A. Stuart. The transaction, anticipated to close in 2008, is subject to regulatory approval.
Both companies are independent specialty fluid manufacturers for the global metalworking fluids marketplace.
