Flame Technologies names president/COO

Flame Technologies Inc. has named 20-year company veteran Shawn Toops as president and COO.

Toops previously served the company as vice president/general manager, a position he held since 1999. In his new role, he assumes overall responsibility for the company's daily operations, as well as its long-term strategic direction.

Toops joined the company in 1986 as a district salesperson and in 1990 was named national sales manager. He has a B.B.A. from Stephen F. Austin University.
